Cosmetic Eyelid and Facial Surgery
Cosmetic treatments vary from the least invasive topical treatments, to injectables, lasers, and surgery. Each treatment works toward the same goal of rejuvenation for both men and women. As aging occurs, the skin loses its elasticity resulting in a downward gravitational pull on the facial structures. Consequently, the position of the eyelids and eyebrows, face, and neck can dramatically change and alter your facial expressions.
Cosmetic surgery can improve the appearance of your facial features, repair scarring or past facial traumas, and boost your confidence.
The types of cosmetic facial surgery we offer include:
- Brow and forehead lift
- Eyelid surgery: Upper, Lower to address the “bags” under the eyes, repair drooping eyelids
- Botox to relax facial wrinkles
- Dermal fillers to address facial hollows related to aging
- Lasers to rejuvenate skin, remove hair and spots
- Facelift
- Facial implants
- Neck lift
Who is a Candidate?
If you are interested in reversing certain signs of aging – such as drooping eyes or wrinkles in the forehead – cosmetic facial surgery may help you feel more comfortable with your appearance.
What to Expect
A complete and personal perioperative analysis and consultation to optimize your surgical outcome is done by the surgical team. The goal is to perform aesthetic procedures to restore a more youthful, yet natural, appearance while preserving function of the facial structures. Some procedures can be performed under local anaesthesia, while others are best done under general (fully asleep) anaesthesia. Usually every effort is made to use small, concealed incisions to minimize scarring and downtime.
Your recovery period will vary based on the type of surgery you undergo, but you can expect to resume normal activities within seven days.
